I already have a motorcycle I barely have time to ride... Mrs. BoostAddict won’t ride this, and I need to buy a bunch of farm supplies. I was willing to say I’d buy the Dauphine if I sold the baler, but I already have a bike and we kinda could use the money in better ways... looks like a good deal if other Oppos are interested.
*sigh* practicality sucks.

Getting ahead on anything on a farm is not a bad thing. You are making the responsible decision.

Well you’re in the wrong place if you need to be talked out of it.

Guess you’ll need a 1:18 Dauphine to tide you over ...

I’d buy it for the parts myself, I have a 1966 frame in storage and nothing really to put on it. The LML (Bajaj Vespa copies in India is what Stellas are ) reed valve engines are good and the better brakes and wheels would be perfect. I couldn’t buy those parts for that price. I’m sure it’s very far from me.

That’s around a typical price for a ‘mid-range’ regular-production 1:18 scale diecast model nowadays. Lower priced models get you cheaper details, while top-end models get real mesh, full opening parts , limited production, etc.
Maybe a 1:43 Dauphine or 1:55ish one is more your type, if you’re not so invested in the idea of a Dauphine model.
